A drill machine is used for the drilling and making holes in the floor, wall or any material that is under use. It composes of a lot of hazards and corresponding risks. The list of hazards is mentioned below.

Precautions
It is necessary that a suitable drill machine should be used for the job by a competent worker. It must be inspected using a checklist to ensure every aspect of the machine is inspected. The following Items must be checked.
- The body of the machine should be free of rust, crack, damage.
- The power cord and the power plug should be in good condition and fully insulated.
- The operating button, emergency stop button should be in functional condition.
- The chuck and drill bit should be in good condition, tightened to required limit.
- The forward handgrip should be available for firm hold on machine when in use.
- If the equipment is damaged, its use should be prevented and must remove from the worksite.
- If the equipment is battery powered, its battery should be in good condition.
- Damaged or obsolete battery should be discouraged to use.
