Bagasse is the dry pulpy fibrous material left behind when the sugarcane is crushed to extract the juice. Once done the pulpy material is left to dry. Later it is used as a biofuel for the production of heat, energy, and electricity as well as material for building materials,s, etc.
The dry pulp is more prone to catch fire easily hence it is mandatory for all those people engaged in bagasse handling must take care when working.
