Near Miss incidents occur at the workplace during the job activity, and it is recorded that the number of near miss incidents is higher than the incidents deliver harm to the worker, equipment, and causing financial losses.
Near Miss incidents if not stopped through corrective actions, these turn into loss causing events in the coming future. Similarly, these incidents are not reported neither investigated to find out the root causes so corrective actions can't be taken as well.
It is necessary all kind of incidents are reported and record, and organization launch incident investigation to find the root causes so that appropriate corrective actions are adopted to correct them before they reoccur.
