Job Safety Analysis also known as the Job Hazard Analysis is used to identify the hazards associated with an activity, and to ensure the minimum safety arrangements are adapted to control the hazard associated risk.
The process consists of the steps listed below;
- Selection of the task;
- Division of tasks in sub-tasks
- Evaluation of each task for associated hazards and corresponding risks
- Identify if the existing controls are sufficient or need more controls
- Communication and Implementation of new controls
