Scaffolding Inspection Checklist

Download the Scaffolding Inspection Checklist Form👈

Working at Height is an important but dangerous activity. A thorough and comprehensive risk assessment is necessary to identify the risks and determine what kind of work platform is suitable for the activity. Scaffolding is one of the available means of working at height.

Due to the work platform's nature and structure, the scaffolding's inspection regime must be performed by a competent yet experienced professional. The best method is to utilize a comprehensive inspection checklist covering all aspects of the working platform and inspecting every element. The observations and notes are recorded, and if the work platform is in good condition, it can be used; otherwise, label it dangerous and remove it from the site.

The Inspection Checklist can be downloaded from the link available above and utilized to inspect the scaffolding available on your worksite.
